The safest way is to run Wine HQ and run native Winbox for windows on it. Here are the steps how to install Mikrotik Winbox on MAC OS Catalina 10.15.4. Download winbox to the linux server/VM. Install XQuartz on Mac. Connect to linux install using SSH -X user@server.
