After installing the El Capitan GM, the forward/back buttons (side buttons, 4 & 5) on my Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 are only registering as left mouse buttons. I did the installation using VirtualBox 6.1.4: it did not need the commands of step 5 (probably because I am already on a Mac), but I had to first to set back the clock of the guest to 2015, as you suggested in your other post. Multibeast el capitan installation failed.
